Faculty Fellows Manuscript Symposium Funding Application
The Ansari Institute offers up to $5000 for a manuscript symposium to faculty fellows. The purpose of the award is to provide faculty fellows an opportunity to solicit feedback from one or two top scholars in the field on a manuscript draft prior to its publication.
Alternatively, the award may also be used to celebrate a book after its publication. While the institute welcomes applications from both junior and senior scholars, priority will be given to junior scholars who can benefit from the grant to advance their careers.
In addition to the funding award, the Ansari Institute will offer logistical support to organize the event. The institute typically awards one such grant per semester. Applications are reviewed twice/year at the end of the fall/spring semesters. Successful applicants are notified prior to the start of the next semester. Request Event Cosponsorship
Please use this form to request that the Ansari Institute cosponsor an event. Please allow between 5 and 10 business days for the institute to review and decide regarding your request. If you are requesting that the institute help publicize an event, please be sure to allow sufficient lead time.
Request for Student Research Funding
The Ansari Institute does not have a funding stream for student research support at this time. The institute may be able to supplement other grants in order to cover modest expenses that the other grants do not cover.
To be eligible, the student's work must be related to the mission of the Ansari Institute. Please send an email to ansari@nd.edu to initiate an inquiry.
