The Multifaith Integral Human Development (IHD) Colloquium will meet Friday afternoon in the Ansari Institute lounge, 4148 Jenkins Nanovic Halls. All are welcome.

Participants will include Keough School master of global affairs students Eunhye Lee, Tinaishe Maramba, Juan Mosquera, Sarah Nanjala, and Angelina Soriano, who will moderate the conversation. Discussion will focus on the role of IHD in international organizations.

About the Colloquium

The colloquium aims to explore how various religious and spiritual traditions would approach the concepts and values of  (IHD). Though the concept of IHD originated in Catholic social teaching, its framing is universal and advocates believe it can be applied broadly.

In an effort to explore these possibilities, the colloquium will bring in special guests from a variety of religious traditions to discuss how their belief systems inform humanitarian, peacebuilding, and development theory and practice.

The goal of the colloquium is for participants to draw connections and expand IHD beyond its Catholic roots to become a truly global framework.
