Funding & Support Requests
The Ansari Institute has limited funding up to $500 to support ND student research and development, including student club activities. Funding provided is typically to supplement other grants in order to cover modest expenses that the other funding is not able to provide. To be eligible, the student's work must be related to the mission of the Ansari Institute.
Requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis by the core leadership team. Any resulting publication of a student's work must include an appropriate acknowledgment of the Ansari Institute's Global Engagement with Religion. The Institute also asks that students submit a brief report for potential publication and photos following the conclusion of a project. Other requirements may be attached to the award letter.
Submission Requirements:

For student research, a research proposal and details including: title, location, dates, advisor, relevance to the Ansari Institute and budget

For student activities, an event description and details including location, audience, relevance to religion and global affairs and expected outcomes
Funding applications are awarded for fall, spring, and summer according to the following deadlines: September 16, 2026, October 28, 2026, and March 3, 2027.
