Policy and Practice Intern

Shiza Kamil is a graduate student at the University of Notre Dame, pursuing a Master of Global Affairs at the Keough School of Global Affairs with a concentration in Sustainable Development. She graduated in 2022 from the Lahore University of Management Sciences in Pakistan with a degree in Political Science and Psychology. Prior to her graduate studies, she was involved in the implementation of programs focused on lung health, maternal and child health, and early childhood education in underserved communities. Her academic and professional interests lie in program analysis and evaluation, gender-responsive policy development, and participatory research aimed at strengthening community-level interventions.
As a Policy and Practice Intern at Ansari, she works at the intersection of sustainable development and religion, contributing to research, convenings, and partnership-building efforts that advance faith-informed approaches to global development.
